Description
This is a set of STLs so you can 3D print a replacement for your Sidchrome 429-8 50-piece tool box as shown. No files for the tools or toolbox included. There are two files – one for the left side and one for the right – which fit into the base of the tool box.
Only fits the era of tools pictured – e.g. if you have a set with mostly tapered sockets, a longer extension (or a Proto era box, etc.) than the one that came in the era shown at least some of the tools won’t fit.
This insert was designed with a 2mm foam spacer in mind above it. Replaces your old insert:
It looks as though the 19135 set superseded this one, but I don’t know if this insert is an exact fit for that set. If anyone picks one up and can try it, let me know and I can make adjustments if necessary.
No physical product is provided – you will need a 3D printer to make use of these files. If you would like to print these for money please get in touch – a commercial license is not an expensive proposition. Hit me up via this site’s contact form.
