Example sizes include:
- 20mm square base -> 25mm square base
- 25mm square -> 30mm square
- 40mm square -> 50mm square (beveled edges)
For the square to round base adapters, on some sizes the inner base’s corners overhang (there’s only so big a square you can fit wholly in a certain size circle) – for example 25 square -> 32mm round has overhangs as the square corners don’t fit inside the circle.
The 30mm square -> 32mm round is very weak due to having almost no rim at all – buy at your own risk, they will be delicate!

These are most commonly used for adapting Warhammer Fantasy Battle miniatures to the current The Old World sizing (e.g. 25mm square to 30mm square) or for adapting Warhammer Fantasy Battle or The Old World miniatures to Age of Sigmar base sizes.
